Short of Flowers provides wholesale supplies for florists in and around Edinburgh. About Us

Liz Thomson and her sister Trisha took over Short of Flowers Ltd on August 7th 2006. Liz had been a customer of Short of Flowers for some time and when the current owner mentioned that she was planning to retire, Liz felt it was too good an opportunity to miss and time to "go it alone" and make her 20+ years experience as a florist and Plant Designer work for her own benefit rather than someone else's.

So Liz persuaded Trisha to come onboard and take the plunge. Prior to this date, Short of Flowers had been on the go since 1994.

Liz's portfolio in Plantscaping saw her design and install "planters" at some of Edinburgh's most prestigious buildings.

Internal and External
Plant Design

This is Liz's and Shorts' "bread and butter". Liz's experience and creative talents can be used to enhance the appearance of the smallest or the largest business or domestic premises, inside or outside. Shorts can supply, install and maintain everything that you need to make your premises look just the way you would want. Even in the short time since Liz and Trisha have taken over, several large businesses have taken advantage of Liz's and Shorts' ability to deliver in this area and of their extremely competitive prices.

You will see the Shorts influence at various sites in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. This could be normal daily decorations, or for a special occasion e.g. Christmas or Valentines.
